Christmas fun!

Being with family means that Sammy and I

can have a little time to ourselves...

We headed up to Lake McDonald to enjoy

the cold and beautiful sun!

On Christmas Eve we headed to

Gramma Marie's house (G.G.) for some fun with the cousins!

The first big "OWIE"

So, Ms. Amelia was curious last night, and ended up with her first burn :(

She touched the stove, and man oh man, was there sadness; we all felt sad.

She slept great last night, but does have some blisters on her fingers.

Here is a picture of our first bandage... it lasted 30 minutes :)

We are going to be getting a baby gate, but in the meantime, a chair will do.

Our tree has only lights and garland this year...

I wonder why?

Getting ready for some skiing time!

My mom came for 10 days, last week.

Sam had a speaking/skiing engagement all week,

and I was able to join him for 5 days of it, Amelia-free.

It was so fun to ski, but I was ready to see my big girl :)

While we were away, Nana Roxy taught Amelia about Frosty the Snowman...

Now, whenever she hears the song, she starts to dance

(which is turning in circles with her hands in the air)

Baby Steps

Amelia decicded to try out her walking shoes for the first time two weeks ago.

Here is a video of those first few steps...she seems pretty proud of herself.

Two weeks of practice and she is on the move...hopefully she does not find those running shoes anytime too soon.
